About

Hello! Welcome to my new website! Hope you like the new look! I think it reflects who I am. Tucked within are the things I love, so please have a look around.

Now, I’d like to tell you a little something about myself. First and foremost, I’m a writer. I’m mad about writing. Crazy about it! I’ve been writing stories, poems, journals and essays since I was a kid and I have no intention of stopping! I’m always thinking up stories and I love it! I am currently the Writer-In-Residence at Herman Melville's beloved Berkshire, Massachusetts home, Arrowhead!

I am also a teacher. I have a Master’s degree in Education and I'm certified to teach Elementary school and K ~ 12 English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL). I have a TESOL certification, which allows me to teach English to adults at all levels anywhere in the world. I have taught almost every grade level from kindergarten to University. I’ve taught regular subjects, including Language Arts, Math & Science and some unusual subjects, such as Mandarin Chinese. Now, I’m focusing on combining my love of writing with my love of teaching.

Please have a look around to find out about me, my books and how I can work as a visiting author/writing teacher in your school or workplace. I work with children and adults of all ages. I can teach writing, editing, prose, essays, poetry and hopefully inspire you to keep writing!

I also LOVE visiting book clubs. Whether it's an adult book club, a parent~child club, or a school book club, I'd love to visit, either in person or virtually. Skype or facetime is a new way to have a chat, so if you read any of my books and want to visit with me, I'd be happy to oblige.

Check out my blog to see what’s on my mind, what’s new and upcoming and where I’m headed. And write me! I look forward to hearing from you!
